Whenever you need to modify multiple files, a batch editing tool will always save you precious time. It should be obvious that it's much easier to select a series of options, regardless of their complexity, than renaming each file, one by one. With AttributeMagic Pro, you can change mostly any information about your files or folders. It supports any format and it lets you modify any properties or attributes, using a series of flexible tools.

You can find AttributeMagic in standard and Pro versions. The Pro edition comes with a greater variety of tools and features, but you can download any version, without waiting for too long, thanks to their small setup files. The installation process is also fast and you can have the program up and running on most Windows platforms.

After selecting a folder on your hard drive, you will be able to browse through its contents. They are displayed in a table of contents, which also includes extensions for any file, attributes, date of creation, modification and access. Additional information, for any selected item (file or folder), can be found in a tree structure, on the left side of the interface. The structure contains general information, like name, extension, size and so on, and specific information, depending on what type of file you select. If you click an image, you will find details regarding its resolution, as well as various EXIF information.

The software does not limit you to viewing attributes for your files and folders. You can modify any information, using a wide range of options, located beneath the files list. First, you need to select what property to modify and what action to perform, from separate drop menus. The options in this area will change constantly, according to what selections you make. If you just want to change the creation date, you will find a simple tool for selecting a date or using the system's current date. If you want to batch rename a series of files, the options will be more complex, but not difficult to handle.

AttributeMagic Pro covers a very broad range of information which can be modified. Besides renaming files or modifying dates, you can also change various attributes for any file, make adjustments to JPEG metadata, manipulate MS Office document time stamps or properties and much more. The software includes a series of templates for changing dates, document properties, attributes and other details. You can access a list of available templates, by clicking an option in the Tools menu, where you may also configure your own templates, using the same options which can be found on the main interface.
